Let’s break it down, because trust me, knowing these terms is a GAME CHANGER when you’re new to UGC 👌👇 First up, let’s talk about ‘inbound emails.’ 📥 An Inbound is when Brands reach out to YOU because they love what you do (and why wouldn’t they?!) Then, there is ‘outbound emails.’ 📤 This is where I put on my girl boss hat and reach out to brands myself. This can be done via IG DM or through an email. TOP TIP 👉 Never email the brands generic email address eg the ones beginning with PR or INFO, it will 9 times out of 10 not get through to you who you need to speak to (and who you need to speak to is the person responsible for dealing with content creators 🥰😗) Knowing some of the key UGC terms is your roadmap in the UGC world 💕🌎 and will make things easier for you.
